Best Price for Safflower Seed This is the BEST price I’ve found for safflower seed! I need to use it because of the squirrels. I used to just get it at Petsmart but their 7 1/2 pound bag is 12.99 so you’re basically paying $4.00 more for a half of a pound more. Wish the bag was more user friendly (recloseable) but maybe that’s why it’s so cheap!
Birds love it My three African Gray Parrots enjoy this every morning as a treat along with their fresh apple and carrot treats. They eat their treats first while I am fixing their main dish foods. I only give them 2 tsp a day sunflower seeds since their Safflower seed and pellet diet is better form them. I also cook them a pasta/bean medley and they get 2 Tbs daily of that with them pellet diet.
