Nice hanger but not as expected. I have a huge hanging potted plant hanging from it. It’s holding well so far. I estimate that the weight of the pot after watering is about 30-40 pounds . I screwed the bracket to a 4×4 post with three inch stainless steel screws as my last curved hook from a different manufacturer broke after the head of one of the decking screws that I used broke off and allowed the weight of the plant to snap off the bracket between the screw holes. Solid, quality, lovely These are solid, pretty, and rustic. These are heavy-duty, and do not bend. The coating on them is a little ripply and uneven in a place or two, which would make me wonder if they would hold up well, rust-free, outdoors. I’m using them indoors, however, mounted to walls (in studs, it with toggle drywall anchors) for hanging plant baskets. I really like the look of the hook The only issue that I have with this hook is the area where it screws to the wall. It is too thin for a hook this size. Typically with a hook this size, you would hang something relatively heavy on it. The area that screws to the wall is approximately 1/4″ wide and because it is thin heavy things pulls standard anchors out of the wall with the weight of heavier things. The area that screws to the wall should have been wider to spread out the weight on the wall. The only way this hook works…
