I love this guide. Great guide. After many years, I’ve finally just switched over to these guides exclusively. The color orientation is just better, even if some people think it is less technical. In older standard manuals, the names and categorizations have changed, anyway. Highly recommend this series.
Too many missing birds There are many omissions of birds that we see everyday in their season, the idea of listing them by color is ridiculous, they are not all solid colors. Some of the missing birds are the Calliope Hummingbird, Harris Sparrow, Lark Bunting and Black backed Lesser Goldfinch, also Wilson’s Warbler.
Very helpful I’ve identified birds I’ve enjoyed seeing not knowing there names Very helpful I’ve identified birds I’ve enjoyed seeing not knowing there names. Kinda like people. If you like birds and you live in New Mexico. Get the book meet your winged neighbors.
