Perfect solution for finches. I love these socks! They have a small opening that is closed with the drawstring top. I use a funnel to fill them and it works great. I have tried every kind of finch feeder there is over the years and have found the socks to work best, plus the finches love them! When it rains, these stay dry unlike the other feeders I tried. Finches love them Our finchies love these and actually will feed on these before they will use the fancy $40 bird feeder we bought for them. Unfortunately, the squirrels and other birds like them too, so they may not work as well for you if you have a lot of squirrels in the yard. (Or order a bunch, they’re inexpensive and easy to use).
