Bad Value Unlike others, I did receive the 4lb bag (those who didn’t need to contact Amazon for refund!).It’s still a terrible value though. A 5lb bag of comparable seed is < $5 at Walmart. They have free pickup at stores and free 2 day shipping on orders over $35. I happened to need a couple of other things so ordered the seed too. Hartz Small Bird Food I’m a wild bird feeder; when they’re fed before going to bed, I’m happy. All the little finches, as well as the doves and starlings, seem to enjoy the variety of this bird food. So, we are happy with this purchase at a reasonable price.
Better for larger birds than Finches. I think this seed is a good value and arrived fresh. Iâve had problems with moths hatching out in other seeds. I fed it to my Zebra Finches but they wouldnât eat the wheat grains that were a good amount of the seed base. I havenât tested it on other type birds. I have Conures and Canaries so I will try it out on them. The package says it is for Finches, Canaries and Parakeets.
