A good deal! Feeder was exactly as pictured. Design is good to keep larger birds away. No more shoveling out seed from the red bellied woodpecker, so no lost seed. I put it up and replaced my older feeder this evening, and the small birds did not hesitate to go right in. Construction is very sturdy. Filling is easy. But I like it! I had gotten so tired of watching the squirrels and the black birds go through 3 pounds of food per day. This cage lets the smaller birds in but keeps the “shovelers” on the outside. The larger birds hang on the edges of the feeder or feed off the seeds that fall to the ground. The smaller birds hang around longer since they are safe from the larger birds and cats. Two pounds of seed will last 4-5 days. My neighbor just asked me to order on for her. I like it!
Disappointment I have purchased several Woodlink bird feeders and have always been very pleased however this particular feeder is my least favorite and most disappointing one. It is super easy for the squirrels and crows to raid and, consequently, is the first to empty, usually within 2 hours of filling.
