I’ve tried the three brands of Low/No Waste seed I’ve found readily available: Audubon Park, Kaytee, and Pour Joy.Before trying the others, I used probably a dozen bags of Audubon, both purchased locally and on Amazon.I’ve found the quality to be hit or miss – mostly miss, between bags. Many of the bags were nearly entirely millet, with very little sunflower, corn, or peanuts. At least in my area, the birds seem to toss much of the millet, so even though this is “No…
NW birds love it! Get a good feeder. Our birds love this stuff in NW Oregon. Finches be frenzied! The jays and crows will also pick up anything the little birds miss, and then the squirrels clean up that. This seed results in bare ground under the empty feeder. However, they only eat it up when it’s in the RoamWild bird feeder and they rarely eat out of the SquirrelBuster bird feeder. Could just be their preferred feeder.
Product was not as advertised. This mix was nearly entirely white mullet, with just a few specks of brown in there. Not at all what I thought it was or as the pic represented. I could have bought a larger bag of the generic mix at Walmart for less and got the same thing. IMHO, it reflect negatively on the brand and I won’t buy it again.
