  1. You’ll love it! Love this stuff. Birds are happy and no squirrels. Well, okay one has taken a strange liking to it. The other squirrels take a bite and it’s like a cartoon skit! Oh no! It’s hot! Very hot! It’s burning my mouth off hot! At least that’s the look on their little faces. And they don’t come back.I get all kinds of birds. Cardinals, blue birds, sparrows, finches. I even have a red head woodpecker. He’s quite funny on the feeder. He hangs out upside down. I also use the hot…

  2. Deters squirrels, birds love I did not realize how much this ‘hot ‘ seed would deter squirrels; I previously had squirrel invaders (still have one for them to invade); now I see all cardinals, finches & others at it all the time.

  3. Works for squirrels, not so much raccoons I do like this food; the squirrels don’t bother the feeders like they used to. However, if you are purchasing it to discourage the raccoons, that doesn’t seem to work. Raccoons don’t seem to mind the heat. I even put more chili powder into it and it still didn’t faze the raccoons. I will continue to purchase because I think I lose less food to the squirrels and the birds still flock to the feeders. Now if someone could figure out how to create raccoon repelling bird food I’d be thrilled.
