Orioles don’t eat ours but woodpeckers do Although this is made for orioles, our baltimores don’t eat it. However, the woodpeckers go crazy for it as do a few other songbirds (chickadees, blue jays). We are using a double feeder and they are cleaning it out in 1 to 2 days. So it gets expensive quickly. A positive though is the sparrows don’t seem as interested in this type of suet as another we tried (C&S with Mealworm), and we like that aspect. Also, they really don’t melt, which is a plus in summer heat and humidity.
The only reason I didn’t give it a 5star was it is so good at attracting birds one cake only lasted a day … Seems as though every bird from miles around found my feeder.
