  1. Rainbow Mealworms I couldn’t be happier with the mealworms I received. They were in crumpled newspaper in a ‘burlap’ sack tied shut and the box had air holes poked in it. I put the box in the refrigerator for an hour and had an easy time transferring them to a container. Once they warmed up and were moving around, I could only find a few that didn’t make it.   3. Not a good thing with the heat that we have been having … The mail-lady handed me the box and said “This stinks!” and indeed it did. Most of the worms turned black within a day or two and my bird won’t eat them, won’t eat anything but live food and I had ordered a double order this time. I blame the heat because I have dealt with this company before and they have lived up to their word. Never a problem before.
