  1. Works Great New squirrels in the neighborhood, and they were hanging from the suet cage and making short work of the cakes. We had a two-piece plastic version in the past, but it would come apart and eventually blew away in a windstorm. This is great, since you can use it on the shepherd’s hooks that are double pronged at the bottom and double hooked at the top (the one-piece baffles that don’t “split open” would not be able to be used since you can’t thread them onto the top or bottom of the hooks)…

  2. Damn squirrels I had a ton of these damn squirrels eating all my bird food. I installed this cone on two of my feeders and now the squirrels are looking allot skinnier.

  3. Chipmunks are getting hungry I couldn’t figure out why my bird feeder was going empty after 5 hours or so. The squirrels were unable to get to the sunflower seeds because of the spring loaded sleeve on the feeder. So after watching for 15 minutes I saw the culprits – a couple of wily chipmunks climbing up the shepherds pole and whose weight didn’t close the feeding ports as they quickly stuffed their mouths with heaps of expensive sunflower seeds.
