Great baffle for squirrels – updated Since I live in California I really didn’t need it for rain. I just got sick and tired of trying to find a feeder that actually was squirrel proof. Well, this is as close to that as I have found. So far, about a month now, the few squirrels that have tried to hang by their tails and devour the seeds have failed! Product is not as shown The picture of this dome clearly shows hooks. However it did not come with hooks nor does the description tell you that the hooks are not included. No packing slip came with this item either.
Solved the squirrel problem with the hummingbird feeder! This dome looks pretty, hangs easily and has very quickly prevented the squirrels from climbing up the pole holding our hummingbird feeder, climbing onto the feeder and spilling all the sugar water. It was really funny watching the squirrels try to get around the dome the first few times — now they have given up! Yay!!!
