I had owned a later publication from the mid-to-late 60s that had a mishap relating to a cooking incident (my book is always handy in the kitchen to identify the birds at the feeders, but I won’t go into that). This was commissioned by the Texas Department of Parks and Wildlife intending to be a very inclusive book. It had descriptions of visitors from Mexico that other books don’t, (Mexican Duck with the details to tell it from a Mottled Duck).   3. Excellent Birding Book and provider of same. This is an excellent book for birding and has been out of print for a long time. The seller indicated it was in good enough shape to warrant it a collector level and I totally agree. With the use I am giving it along with it’s age I doubt it will remain at a collector’s level in the next 10 years or so.
