We’re making babies! We have lots of bird feeders but no nests in our backyard, so we bought this and mounted to a pillar on our back porch. We had Carolina wrens nesting in it within a week and have hatched two clutches so far this year. Couldn’t be happier. Perfect sized hole for wrens. No problems with pesky sparrows.
Itâs well made and seems itâs going to be easy to clean out at the end of the season I bought this house based on the reviews. This is our first year to have wrens. We have 2 wren families living in 2 different hanging planters which makes it difficult to water my plants while not harming the babies. I want them back next season but hope 1 of the families will move into this house. The house is well made and seems like it will be easy to clean out at the end of the season. If the wrens like this one Iâll buy another next year because we like having the wrens around.
REAL WREN HOUSE !!! Hard to find house with a true 1 inch hole for wrens.. Most other wren house have larger holes that chickadees and sparrows can get in even though they are called Wren houses….
