  1. Birds love it I use this on my urban patio, so I mostly have sparrows and doves at my feeder. I like this product because the seeds that fall to the ground are eventually eaten and do not sprouting in my planters. I would recommend this to others who have sloppy birds throwing seed around.

  2. Cost effective with minimal waste I have gone through numerous kinds of wild bird seed looking for that perfect combination of minimal waste and maximum cost-efficiency. The F.W. Brown’s “No Waste” mix is the closest I have found. For the amount of edible seed contained in the bag, this is a reasonably priced bag of seed, and the lack of sunflowers hull and other waste reduces clean-up to a minimal level. I just ordered my second bag, and I intend to use this as my bird feed from now on.

  3. Good seed–not entirely no-waste This seed is generally quite good. The birds seem to like it. There’s much less waste than with traditional bird seed–no sunflower seed hulls all over the place. However, the millet does have little hulls or seed covers that many birds don’t seem to eat, so you still get a certain amount of millet-hulls underneath your feeder. But it’s manageable, unless you really want zero waste. For that, you might have to just use shelled sunflower seeds by themselves.
