I had purchased two bags of this bird seed and … I had purchased two bags of this bird seed and when I was carry it in to unpack, I noticed ants on the outside of the box and then when I actually opened the box there were ants everywhere (biting ants). I immediately took it to the garage and started spraying it and left it for a while but when I came back there were still ants and I noticed one of the bags had been punctured and the ants were actually in with the food.
Cardinals love it! I had been hunting a bird seed that would attract Cardinals. In just a few hours of placing this in my bird feeder, the adjacent tree was filled with the beautiful red birds. It is a joy to see them out my kitchen window.
