Birds love it! My birds in Spokane love it. I am feeding the birds that were already in the tree, not attracting new ones. Mostly sparrows. I haven’t fed this mix to them in winter yet. Initially I started feeding throughout the spring to keep them from eating grass seed. My dog’s barking and behaviour was so greatly improved by the extra singing that I continue to feed them. We’ll see who shows up for this seed in winter!
Spokane birds like it We have finches, grosbeaks, doves, sparrows, cowbirds, quail, Deer, squirrels, rabbits and more that all take part in emptying our feeders with this seed mix in it. It’s messy but the quail seem to clean up the debris seed on the ground. We would probably go through two bags a month if I filled the feeders timely.
For the birds My birds love this, but it does create quite a mess on the deck floors where the bird feeders reside. Have switched to a no-waste formula, but love the price on this baby. Hope Wagner’s will make a no-mess version.
