Good value; hard to find Parrots can live a LONG time… ours are 20 and 21. And they have an opinion on their favorite food…. This is it. So when my local PetSmart stopped carrying it, I had a problem.
This mix also smells really great! I wanted a seed mix without sunflower so I can regulate how much my Hahn’s Macaw is eating. She put on some weight when season started. We staved off the 4 ova with an injection of hormones so her eggs wouldn’t develop, but she went up to 195 grams and I need her to be at about 140-150. I’ve been seeing a reduction in weight and she is eating more pellets now and liking it. I used this mix to transition her and she likes it. This mix also smells really great!
