  1. Best Feed! My birds love this stuff. I have two, a green cheek conure and a cockatiel they were both hatched in 2013. I was looking and asking for food with less or no moths. I also took the Higgins Safflower Gold Natural Food Mix for Conures & Cockatiels bag to the bird nutritionis veteranarian when my conure needed her beak ground down. (She just wont grind it herself.) My birds absolutely love it but the food mix is seed dominate and … My birds absolutely love it but the food mix is seed dominate and my little guys were starting to show signs of seed addiction. Definitely need a pellet/fruit/veggie regime to go with it. Probably old news to pro bird folks but this is my first year with birds so there was a little learning curve with the foods. I do suggest picking up a sealable glass container to put the mix in because its easier to deal with daily feedings than the bag.

  3. My picky bird loves this food. My Conure runs to her dish when I get this bag of food out for her. I had not used this before but decided to try it when she was throwing a good 95% of her other food onto the bottom of her cage. This is fresh, smells delicious and a decent price for what you get. The only problem I have is with Widget, she won’t eat any dried fruit, vegetables, nuts or pellets.
