Really good bird seed! I am an avid bird feeder and have a really nice squirrel proof feeder that my wife and I can see right outside our den window. It’s just really cool to see all the different birds come feed. I had been using Audubon Society bird seed with decent results. I saw this seed and it just looked like much higher quality ingredients. While it does not attract as many birds, I am finding that it is attracting better, more colorful varieties. After using it for a few months now I have made it my…
Attracts an incredible variety of birds I have been using this mix for some time. Recently started to purchase from Amazon due to the great price. This mix attracts more birds to my yard than I have ever seen. At any given time, I see chickadees, titmice, goldfinches, numerous types of sparrows, pilleated woodpeckers, cardinals, nuthatches, juncos, bluejays, and even the annoying starlings and mourning doves. Plus this mix doesn’t clog my squirrel-proof feeder. Highly recommended. Didn’t experience the same problem as the other…
Not too special for my birds, I guess I haven’t had too many birds to call on this seed. I was looking forward to it too. I’ve seen my regular sparrows and blue jay and they’re picking through and leaving much of it on the ground. I had chosen this variety based on the reviews and, well, it’s not working as well as I had hoped. Maybe it’s the wrong season. Since it’s not disappearing as fast as I thought I suppose I’ll se what the different seasons will do for my backyard feathered friends.
