Broken Container I’ve ordered 4 of these. The first container made it fine. The next one was sent back to Amazon because it was undeliverable. The next 2 made it but the containers were cracked and seed spilled all in the box. I didn’t return them because I had saved the first container and just poured the seed from the broken container and box into that container. It’s a shame as the wild finches and sparrows love this seed. I wish they could figure out a way to ship this type of container without…
Although this product claims that it is for Finches, … Although this product claims that it is for Finches, not one finch went near this birdseed. The birds that it did attract scattered more seed into the grass (from the feeder) than they consumed. Unfortunately those scattered seeds sprouted and killed the lawn in that area. Do not believe Wagners claim that this seed will attract Finches- NOT TRUE!! Purchase only Nyjer seed for Finches.
Birds seem to like I’ve ordered this twice from Amazon and have not had any problems so far with it breaking in shipment. It disappears quickly in the bird feeder so the birds seem to give it a thumb’s up. I would have given it 5 stars if it had a little more nyjer and plan to order more because it’s hard to find this kind of food in the stores at near a dollar a pound (and delivered to your front door).
