Please read update. I have been using this make and brand for several years and this year it is not on store shelves!! I tried other brands but does not bring finches and other small birds as this Songbird food does. If you love to watch finches and other small birds come groves, buy this and you will not regret.
Wisconsin small birds, song birds, really love this mix! The song birds that we have in SE Wisconsin, Finches, sparrows, chickadees, etc., really love this blend / mix of seed. I’ve used this product for a few years but this year I have not been able to find it locally in stores. I was delighted to see it provided on Amazon, and in the larger bag-sizes too.
Works As Advertised!! This is the only seed we have tried that actually attracts the pretty songbirds to our backyard feeders in NC. Especially the Goldfinches – they come by the droves now. I highly recommend this product to anyone looking to attract the colorful songbird’s to their feeders. I’ve tried several other seeds, including the plain thistle recommended for Goldfinches, and I would get *some* birds – but this stuff has them fighting and hanging around the feeder for others to finish. Truly good stuff!
