Rake and remove accumulated hulls and droppings from underneath the feeders. Spread mulch (bark or wood) under the feeder, replace mulch when soiled. Thoroughly wash hands after handling and cleaning feeders.

Great Company but they missed on this one. I own and use a LOT of bird feeders at our place. Quality Construction, But Very Frustrating Top, And Far From “Maximum Security From Squirrels” This feeder is a mix of a manufacturers good intention to some detail, while completely ignoring others.
