  1. HEAVY BUG INFESTATIONS! This was the THIRD time that this product was horribly infested with little moths that are extremely difficult to get rid of, so I’m officially done with Kaytee bird seed mixes. Skimming through past reviews, I see that other consumers have experienced the same little moths (or whatever they are) in their bags, as well.   2. I can’t imagine where people don’t consider the safety of their companions. I just can’t see how people are ok with molded peanuts and spoiled bits in their winged friends food.I have had more than one bag of this, and they are consistently not checked for molds, and fungus. Especially the peanuts.These are family members here. And as such, the quality should at least be close to human food. Good food is a solid investment for the long life of your parrot.   3. Last bag has caused an infestation of ‘Indian Meal Moths’ Last bag has resulted in an infestation of ‘Indian Meal Moths’ – which are revealing themselves to be highly resilient to extermination. I have found the cocoons in impossibly small places (as they intend to avoid predators in the wild of course), and it seems that when cocooned they are impervious to all but direct application of pesticide. Have been feeding my parrot this for many years, second occurrence.
