Just the Same Our hummers gulped down the clear nectar just the same as the red nectar. They emptied the two feeders within hours of each one being new and fresh-filled, one clear and the other red. We put two feeders up side by side to make a “scientific” evaluation and that was the answer our little friends left.
They love it The hummingbirds love it totally. Sometimes I have 12 of them on the feeder at the same time. Its much better then the red stuff from homedepot and even better the the home made sugar mix I used before.
