51 inches from the ground not 65. It appears to be of decent quality. Only time will tell. However, the claimed length is misleading. It is exactly 51 inches from ground to the hook. Who cares about the portion that goes into ground or how much it curves above. What counts is the ground to hook length.
Make sure you calculate ground clearance height! It’s a solidly constructed stand that I purchased to hang a hummingbird feeder off of. It arrived in a ridiculously huge box.The stand, it turned out, is woefully too short. The description was accurate, however. I just didn’t take into account that part of the pole would be underneath the dirt, so the height isn’t what I anticipated. If you want a pole that will be 65″ off the ground, you need to get one that is 70″ or more. I might still give this one a try and see if…
