Good Feeder for Keeping Squirrel’s Out This is a Good Feeder not only keeping Squirrel’s out but also the larger birds such as Red Winged blackbirds. My only complaint is the mesh is too far into the cage and even the smaller birds & smaller woodpecker’s have a hard time getting the peanut pieces and sunflower seeds.
Squirrels beware! It does not keep the squirrels away but they sure cannot get to the seeds. The poor things have to wait under the feeder for a bird to drop a seed to the ground, and that does not happen often with black oil sunflower seeds. Very popular with smaller birds.
great feeder! I am impressed by this all metal feeder, it is strong enough that squirrels and raccoon should not be able to tear it apart, holds the right amount of seed and the birds were all over it in the first few minutes after it was hung!
