A high-quality platform bird feeder that’s easy to clean, well-made, and durable … We do love to feed and watch the birds during the winter, but unfortunately the last feeder we had got quite grungy. The birds began to turn away because there was algae growing inside the tube. The look was awesome, but the performance lacking. One of the nicest things about this platform feeder is the fact that I can actually remove the perforated tray for a thorough cleaning.
Great feeder for a specific purpose We feed birds year round and have numerous feeders. We live out in the boonies surrounded by forest and a small orchard. Most of our land is dedicated to birds and other critters. At last count we have installed around fifteen different feeding stations. Some of the feeders are commercial and some are homemade. Cedar Quality The 11.8 inch square platform feeder is made with the quality and care I’ve grown accustomed to with WildBird Care products. The cedar pieces are secured with screws and all joints are neat and even. A metal, perforated tray slides in and out perfectly made grooves. On the outside of the feeder is a “latch” to keep the metal tray in place.
