  1. it’s holding up just fine. Other than the finish on the red one … Only 5 weeks old and the finish is starting to fade away on the red one. Get the gold one, it’s holding up just fine.Other than the finish on the red one these are great feeders. Perfect size.

  2. Not worth the money I immediately returned this. It was defective right out of the box. I was so disappointed! The bottom portion looks well made and I loved the sparkly finish on the lid. The locking mechanism doesn’t work, and that’s a deal-breaker. When the button is pushed, it is supposed to slide up so you can raise the roof to fill with seed. The lock won’t stay secure. It slides with the slightest pressure. It is made from a flimsy-looking plastic that doesn’t match any of the rest of the feeder. I bought a…

  3. Piece of crap in cold climates Piece of crap! Looks nice, but poor design for cold climate. I had this for a very short time, and being here in Ohio where it gets cold, the button on the lid to keep it from going up on its own, froze and I couldn’ t open it to put bird seed in. So I was working on trying to get lid off and accidently dropped it on the ground. The plastic that holds the birdseed shattered.
