Feeder meant, and great for, songbirds Was online to order my second feeder of this make/model, read the other reviews, and decided to write my own. I have owned this model for a few months. It works pretty well, all things considered. We have four 5 lb yankee doodle flippers hung (which we love despite their limitations), and use this model for our chicadees, finches, titmouse, carolina wrens, and nuthatches. Woodpeckers (red breasted and downeys) also periodically try to use it.
Just Be Patient We got this feeder 2 weeks ago to replace an older one that was being raided by a very persistent squirrel. It seemed well built, was easy to fill, and looked better than most squirrel-proof feeders.
