Popular with birds of all sizes These are large feeders so they are popular with birds of all sizes. In addition to the small birds that I get at my other feeders I’m getting birds as large as mourning doves. The tube feeder has also proved durable. Innovative bird feeder Pleasantly surprised by this bird feeder. Have had two wooden ones that didnât weather well here in New England. The plastic cosnturct is both beautiful and functional. It adheres soundly to the window. I like it that it has three compartments so that you can use different kind of food that donât mix.
Totally NOT SQUIRREL PROOF! They park their furry buts in the center section and eat! The reason I bought this was that I needed a squirrel proof container……what a complete joke that is. I looked at the questions section and it says that if you place it high enough it is squirrel proof and that they can’t get to it. Ummm, No Kidding…any feeder placed high enough will be hard for the squirrel to get to but DOES NOT Make it squirrel proof. And I don’t know where you live, but the squirrels here are super smart….if it is too high, they jump on the screen of the window…
