Squirrel Proof The feeder is perfect with the baffle (that can be bought on Amazon – AUDUBON NACLBAF16 Clear Squirrel Baffle, 16-Inch). We have tried many so-called squirrel-proof bird feeders. None really worked, but this model is highly effective at keeping away pesky squirrels and saving seed for birds only. I highly recommend this product, along with the baffle.
The Birds And I Love It The birds didn’t take long to get adjusted to the new feeder on my deck. They swarm it. I don’t have birds, I have flying piglets. UPDATE: While I love this feeder, it was only maybe a week when I looked and saw only the top of the feeder hanging from the pole. There is a metal rod that connects the top and bottom pieces and this had somehow come unscrewed and the expensive sunflower seeds were all over the ground. Great feeder!! This is a great feeder for little birds. Squirrels can’t get on it and bigger birds can’t perch on it either. It does great with thistle, sunflower chips orsafflower. The lid can be a little tricky but once tightened it stays shut. Cleans well.
