See update The finches love it! I had a covered dome triple sock feeder before that the finches loved. But, it wasted a LOT of seed! So, I got this to try. The finches don’t even miss the socks. It has a lot of perches, and they are always full of finches. I bought the Fancy Swirl Dome and the Aspects 380 Swirl Seed Tray to go with it. It was expensive, but worth it. The amount of bird seed I am saving has already paid for this feeder. It is pretty, well, made, sturdy, easy to clean, easy to fill…
Finches Love It I have purchased other finch feeders in the past that were cheaper versions of the same design, plastic tube, which became brittle and cloudy over time, due to sun exposure. Also plastic perches, and a soft plastic top with a thin wire hanger that eventually broke loose, and rain would get into the feeder through the hole in the top where the wire hanger is and spoil the seed.This tube feeder is far superior! The cost is worth it, I can see this feeder lasting many years, very sturdily…
High Quality / Easy to use & clean / goldfinches love it! I’ve only recently found out about “Aspects” bird feeders and I am impressed. This feeder is high quality, it looks great and it is very easy to clean and maintain. The quick-clean feature makes this one of the easiest tube feeders to clean and reassemble.
