High quality seed This is a very high quality safflower seed at a reasonable cost. I tried another name brand and the quality wasn’t as good. Chuckanut’s safflower seeds are very clean with virtually no debris. The birds love it and keep coming back. The mourning doves inhale it non-stop! I have ordered this brand for the past few years and the quality is always consistently good. The plastic bag is very sturdy and has a resealable top.
Mama’s got a a brand new bag! Just received this product today! I can tell by the see-thru packaging that these seeds are clean and are of good quality!! Finally, I DON’T see sticks and debris scattered throughout the product. Much Much better than what I had been given my little birdies. HEY, Mama’s got a BRAND NEW bag!!!!! And the name is CHUCKANUT!! 🙂
Safflower seed rates Numero Uno with our birds Good stuff, birds like it, squirrels and big birds don’t.. The feathery guys go through it fast so getting the 25# bag sold by Amazon is a much better/smarter deal. WE now get birds by the flock, it seems. OUr feeders are rated #1 by birds in our area. We still have one large feeder with a regular mix which also gets play but the safflower empties faster.
