Dig out the sticks first! Kaytee 25 lb supreme cockatiel food came fast and the bag was intact. The seed resembles wild bird food with the addition of thin yellow pellets. I’m including pics of the food and label from the all white bag as well as some of the sticks I pulled out of the bag tonight. I can’t complain for the price.
Food of choice for my 3 Cockatiels I have 3 Cockatiels (Phoenix, Athena, and Andromeda). As you imagine having more than 1 mid-size bird means they eat a lot. So it’s important that I buy in builk (with reasonable price) and that the food will be healthy for them. I’ve settled with Kaytee’s 25lb bag as its not filled with fillers (the junk that looks like dry cat food that others seem to add, but no bird eats) and though it does have some sunflower seeds, they’re not the majority (which would lead to overweight birds)…
Great stuff all our Birds love this. My birds love this stuff – its some of their favorite – they love a few other brands but I give them millet on the stem and fresh organic broccoli and Raw sunflower seeds also and they chew a lot of toys – Thanks Amazon I can buy more toys because I can save on shipping by buying the proper seed brands as our local stores do not carry the larger sizes and or multiple numbers of smaller bags.
