Where to hang your bird feeder:
A sheltered southeastern exposure is best for hanging a bird feeder since birds like to feed in the sun and out of the wind. Birds also prefer to have a clear view over their feeding area so they can see any predators.
How to attract birds:
To help them find the feeder faster, put a shiny pie pan with some seeds in it underneath the feeder to attract birds in flight. Most birds like black oil sunflower seeds and water can attract them too. Place a hummingbird feeder in and around trumpeting flowers. This will help attract more birds to your bird feeder.
Attention:
Remove hanging feeders if there is inclement weather as tipping or falling may occur.

Very cool It is small but I wanted a small feeder for the wittle birds. Doves can’t hang off of it. Well made and has 4 feeding stations. Delivered on time. Will order from Gardirect again.***** UPDATE ******After about a month and half there is mold growing on wood. I have have wood feeders before in the same area and this never happened. Now I am afraid the mold will harm the birds. Bummer.

Small feeder Description says it holds 8 lbs of feed. Not even close, maybe 2 lbs. Wanted something the birds wouldn’t empty so quickly. Back it goes.
