The woodlink original patented 14-inch wrap around squirrel baffle prevents squirrels and small raccoons from raiding your bird feeders and scaring away birds. Perfect for yard hangers and poles already installed in the ground. When the squirrel baffle is pole mounted, it creates a rounded “wall” that blocks the squirrel, raccoon or chipmunk from climbing up to the feeder, the wrap-around design allows you to attach this add-on without disassembling your bird feeder or bird pole. Textured black powder coated steel construction with steel coupler withstands the elements. Installs on any ½-inch to 1 3/8-inch diameter pole, for best results, mount at approximately 5-feet high, below the feeder or bird house. Included metal coupler clips easily around the pole and the baffle which also clips easily around the pole, rests on the coupler

Works Great New squirrels in the neighborhood, and they were hanging from the suet cage and making short work of the cakes. We had a two-piece plastic version in the past, but it would come apart and eventually blew away in a windstorm. This is great, since you can use it on the shepherd’s hooks that are double pronged at the bottom and double hooked at the top (the one-piece baffles that don’t “split open” would not be able to be used since you can’t thread them onto the top or bottom of the hooks)…

Chipmunks are getting hungry I couldn’t figure out why my bird feeder was going empty after 5 hours or so. The squirrels were unable to get to the sunflower seeds because of the spring loaded sleeve on the feeder. So after watching for 15 minutes I saw the culprits – a couple of wily chipmunks climbing up the shepherds pole and whose weight didn’t close the feeding ports as they quickly stuffed their mouths with heaps of expensive sunflower seeds. Well the baffle has put an end to their sunflower holiday. They didn’t…
