A crunchy snack I have sugar gliders and I need to make sure that they have the appropriate amount of protein in their diet. These mealworms are an excellent addition and the little babies love them!! The amount that comes in the bag is enough to last for a good while, probably several months at least. It’s also resealable which is great because they stay fresh and also I don’t have little crunchy worms all in my carpet when the bag inevitably gets knocked over!
A Great Winter Supplement The outdoor birds around here don’t take to mealworms readily except during the coldest winter months, so that’s when I offer them. I appreciate the different sized bags that Kaytee offers for different needs. A little goes a long way when only a small handful is doled out each day. I’m convinced mealworms helped a pair of Carolina wrens survive last year’s brutal cold weather and it was fun watching them come to this special treat cup. But the ones who love mealworms the most are titmice…
