smelly binoculars The binoculars and case were what I was expecting, except for the overwhelming strong chemical odor. Even after airing them out, the odor remains. These were bought for a young child, not sure he should have them as I don’t know what the smell is.
High VOC, smell extremely bad We bought these as a toy for our son, we threw them out 3 weeks after receiving them. As soon as we unwrapped them from the box our entire living room smelled terrible. We left them o0utside hoping they would finish off-gassing. After 3 weeks we threw them out.
Smell Bad These have an awful chemical smell to them — very strong — the other items that shipped in the same box did not smell. These were so bad, I have them in the garage hoping that they air out enough that we can actually use them.
