Great idea but a little expensive for what you get. I really like this cover. It’s the same size has my saucer shaped feeder and is definitely solid and built to last. It would be a better product if it were larger and more of a cup shape (if that’s the right term) so it could provide better shade for the feeder. The hummers don’t mind it but it has faded quite a bit. There are several of these on Amazon and they’re all rather pricey – regardless, I’m glad I bought it – one more deterrent for the ants.
Not too Big This weather guard is just the right size to use with a hummingbird feeder. Many weather guards are just so big and look so obtrusive (and not to mention so overly expensive). This product is much more inconspicuous and is just the right size to prevent a downpour from diluting the contents of a hummingbird feeder. The guard is made of metal with a durable red powder-coated finish that aids in attracting the hummers to the feeding source hanging below.
