The only true squirrel proof baffle I’ve tried I’ve got three of these baffles, and they are the only baffles wide enough to keep the grey squirrels from gripping on the top hook and stretching underneath to the bird feeder.I also have the little 15″ yellow and 10″ red ones. Those are decorative only, and their colors have faded very fast, while the dark green ones appear true to color after a whole year.
Awesome for rain protection of new bug zappers. Huge These are truely huge, had to get super long deck hooks at wally world to mount ($5), but thats a good thing. Had 2 hanging just by hooks durring a tornado like weather and only one fell (due to unusually high winds). Bought these to use as extra rain protection for my new usa made non-stinger bug zappers to hopefully make them last longer than they would with their standard housing. Feel these will work well and the added weight will make them secure in all wind.

Take that squirrel! The diameter of the collar needs to be bigger than the feeder. If so, the best the squirrel can do is jump on and fall off.
