Perky-Pet Frosted Squirrel-Be-Gone Seed Feeder

With the Perky-Pet Frosted Squirrel-Be-Gone Bird Feeder you get elegant design and squirrel-resistant function all in one convenient package. The metal lid features a unique stamped design, while the seed reservoir boasts an attractive frosted pattern – you’ll find it hard to believe this beautiful feeder has so many squirrel-resistant elements! To offer defense against squirrels, this feeder boasts multiple great features. First, is the feeder’s weight-activated perch system, which is calibrated to support the weight of birds, but collapses under the heavier weight of squirrels. When squirrels try to gain access to the perches, the ports close off under their weight. In addition, the metal base and lid resists squirrel damage, while also adding durability. Finally, a small baffle over the feeding ports keeps squirrels away and protects birds and seed from wet weather. For easy cleaning, the reservoir easily removes from the base. To remove, simply hold in all three buttons located just above the baffle. Now you’ll be able to access even the hard-to-reach spaces as you clean! In addition, this feeder has built-in drain holes to prevent water from pooling in the reservoir, so there’s less seed waste. Use the built-in hanging hook to place this attractive feeder anywhere around your yard or patio.

  1. Squirrels can get to the seeds, but it’s definitely more work for them. Length:: 1:30 Mins I bought this bird feeder a week ago and so far I like it! The squirrels can get to it, but it’s too much work so they can’t eat most of the bird seeds anymore. I was tired of having them attacking the bird food. I didn’t see bigger birds use this feeder, but my strategy was having safflower seeds on a open bird feeder like a gazebo (because the squirrels don’t like that seed) and having sunflower seeds or bird seeds mix on this feeder because it…

  2. one of my favorite feeders I really like this feeder and have recommended it to many of my friends. I have it hanging on my side deck. The feeder lifts easily off the hanging hook for me to fill. The top of the feeder lifts up and to the side so that it fills easily, but the squirrels have not been able to get into it. The top staying attached is nice as my other feeders top sometimes gets knocked off the railing as I’m filling the feeder. The feeder is tall enough and has a little skirt above the ports that…

  3. Squirrels haven’t found a way to beat this feeder Does exactly as advertised. The squirrels don’t even try anymore even though they gobble up everything in the other feeders on either side of this one. We’ve had lots of rain but the bird seed stays dry, and the top opens easily for refilling. You just pop the two buttons on the lid and it opens up without the struggle I’ve had with others where I have had to wiggle the top back and forth to get them to open. (My hands are kind of small. )
