Didn’t stop my cat I installed them on my railing and my cat just walked right on it and continued on his way. Does not work for cats.
Squirrels don’t mind the spikes. Purchased this to, hopefully, help keep the neighbors cats out of my backyard. Also have lots of squirrels around but this does not seem to bother them in the least as this morning saw one running over the top of the spikes like they were not even there.
Not for squirrels! This product was my attempt to keep squirrels, who raid my bird feeder, off the railing of my deck, from where they leap onto the feeder. I’m afraid it didn’t work. I can see it would work for larger paws, such as cats, but with their small paws, the squirrels could navigate through the spike.
