Good, but skeptical about strength claims These are great hooks for the money (especially if you’re an Amazon Prime customer and they ship for free). They’re advertised as 91″ (and they are), but do remember this is from tip of base to tip of hook. Once the stakes are firmly anchored it is closer to 78-79″ in height. Substantial Construction & Durable I purchased the Achla Designs 91″ Heavy Duty shepherds hook for two rather large bird feeders. As soon as I pulled it out of the box I could immediately see this pole is just as stated – heavy duty. The welding is well done and the fork on the bottom definitely keeps the pole from wobbling. Achla heavy duty pole These are great poles! Well made, sturdy and they look good. They come in 2 pieces and assemble easily. They’re a little hard to get into the ground but once they’re set, they’re set! I cannot believe how inexpensive they are. I highly recommend them for outdoors stuff like bird feeders or flower pots. I will buy again.
