  1. Quite Useful Reference Not sure why it is not a 5 but I have some reservations (minor) about the format. I guess it is because I have a certain way to inquire about information and the internet or Echo or Seri was more useful. It could; however, be I just ask crappy question about my birds and how to deal with some of their idiosyncrasies. I do feel it is useful and I would buy it again without hesitation. Sending a copy to my granddaughter as she joins us in “birding.”

  2. important information about how to be of benefit to birds! This is a lovely book, filled with very interesting information. I knew I wanted to offer food to the birds, but felt concerned about negative comments I had heard about this practice. This book resolves all of these issues for me. And it provides information about how to feed the birds without harming them: keeping the seed clean and disease free, for example. A lot of things I did not know about. In addition, there’s a lot of information that makes me appreciate birds even more…

  3. Every Birder Should Have This Book This book provides information you don’t find in most field guides. However, more photos would have really improved the book. Well, any photos really, as there are just some sketches within. But the text is fantastic! This book has greatly increased my knowledge of Birds & Birding in just on reading. And with all the notes I’ve taken, one more read should really solidify the information.
