  1. A pocket naturalist for the most common birds of South Africa. This is a twelve page laminated pocket pamphlet of the most common birds in South Africa. Obviously SA is a huge area, but these are suppose to be the ones you are most likely to see. The last panel delineates the vegetarian zones and lists the major parks/reserves. The map covers SA, Namibia, Botswana, Zimbabwe, Swaziland, Lesotho, and Mozambique.

  2. A great and durable guide for first time travelers on safari! This entire series is very well done, and this guide is no exception. I order it in groups of 10-15 copies and provide one to every traveler that signs up for my group Africa safaris. We are very limited on packing weight due to the small planes we fly on, so even my field guides never make the cut. This guide covers the most common birds we are likely to see, the lamination makes it very durable to use in the rain or toss in a backpack. I always leave mine behind for the guide or Land Cruiser…

  3. what a great pocket guide what a great pocket guide! great color images to help identify the birds in South Africa! fits into my camera bag with no weight to it! Glad i bought it and will vie on my next trip to Kruger National Park!
