  1. Peterson Field Guide Coloring Books: Birds (Peterson Field Guide Color-In… I chose a 4* rating instead of 5* not because of the content of the book nor its usefulness, but because of the size of the stickers that are used as guides when coloring. They are much too small. I really like the coloring book and the descriptions given and will color as much, as well as I can, but larger colored stickers to go by would have been helpful. For the record, I have vision problems.

  2. a birdwatcher’s ‘diary’ I recently started watching birds. Long ago, when I started looking out for butterflies, I got a Peterson coloring book. Each time I really SAW a butterfly to identify it, I ‘allowed myself’ to color it in. I still have that coloring book after 20 years, and occasionally I sight something I have not seen before. I plan to do the same with birds, and this coloring book is of even better detail and quality than my old butterfly coloring book. I am sure I will be enjoying it as long as I can get…
