  1. which are very common and very interesting towatch. Maybe I should had read the description better Simple drawings, I doubt it could help a beginner bird watcher to identify birds. It does not have birds of prey either, which are very common and very interesting to watch. Maybe I should had read the description better, but I still do not understand for which audience it is targeted for. I was looking for a field guide that would be simple enough for kids to recognize common birds while hiking. Short comments under each bird to help distinguish from similar birds would be nice as well.

  2. Laminated and looks helpful…. This is great as I’m just starting to get into bird watching and it’s laminated so you don’t have to worry about taking it into the woods or backyard with your hose on. I’m going to learn this finally! I need to know also what birds are in my area as I’ve become interested in breeding!

  3. Handy little tool for birdwatching on a whim Clever little chart to get a quick view of birds in your area, within Northern California. For me, it’s handy to keep in the garden, so I don’t have to run into the house anytime I want to try to identify a bird near me. It’s laminated, so there’s no worry of moisture rot as I keep it clipped nearby on a post by the garden tool shed.
