  1. Great little travel companion. All I needed was a lightweight, water-resistant guide to identifying the common birds I saw in Ireland. This pamphlet-style foldout guide has very good depictions and descriptions and is plastic coated so you can have it in hand as you stand in the rain, a not-unlikely event if you’re birding in Ireland. In-depth descriptions, habits, etc I can look up later. This is so handy!

  2. A Really Fine Field Guide A really excellent pocket guide. I’m planning a birding trip to Ireland and this will be a great addition to my pack. It’s just the right size for carrying as well as printed on good stock that a rainy day will not damage.

  3. Birdwatching while traveling Great for traveling, they are small and easy to pack and easy to carry. Include the most common birds so I was able to identify the birds in the city.
