This book is an 8×11 glossy fairly thin (easily packable) sturdy paperback with beautiful photos of 80-100 birds you may see on the various islands, along with some descriptive information. In a few days we have identified a dozen or so new birds for us using the book and expect to see many more. If one doesn’t have a field guide for Hawaii, this would be an excellent book to purchase.
